What the extension does
Rotta Ideale calculates routes, costs and margin from the listings you see on the freight marketplace where you use your own account.
Listings (in your browser)
Listings loaded by the page are kept only in the tab's memory; they are not stored in the extension and are lost when you close the tab or press "Clear listings".
Automatic collection and detail reading
On your request ("Find the best route" / "Collect all pages") the extension reads the result pages of your search and, for candidate listings, the detail page (size, quantity, floors, notes, dates). Requests go only to the marketplace, from your tab with your already-open session, read-only, one every 2.5 seconds, with page limits and Stop/Resume buttons. The extension does not read or copy cookies or credentials and stops on a block or anti-bot check. Advertisers' personal data is not stored.
What reaches our server when you calculate
Anonymously: coordinates of pickup/delivery points, offered price, dates and time windows, size/weight (for car carriers and tow trucks also a class code: car, motorbike or van), vehicle capacity and your settings (start point, vehicle, costs). We do not send titles, descriptions, names of people or places, or listing identifiers. The calculation is done on the spot and is not stored. For real roads the server queries our routing service sending only coordinates.
Data stored on your device
Settings, vehicle profiles, license key and a random installation identifier, in the extension's local storage.
Location
The extension does not read your location: you type the start point yourself (town, postcode or coordinates).
Routine and email (optional)
If you enable the routine, listing reading repeats locally at intervals and you get a browser notification. Only if you choose "Also send an email", our server receives the number of new routes, the best net profit and the route (start and end city) and sends a message to your license email; we do not store this data. You can turn it off at any time.
Google Maps
When you click "Open in Google Maps", the coordinates of the route points are sent to Google.
License and purchase data (kept by the controller)
Purchase email, Stripe customer and subscription ids, license key, subscription status, names of activated browsers, last access date and a hashed IP address to limit abuse (expires automatically).
- Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for the license, key delivery and support; legitimate interest (6(1)(f)) for security and anti-abuse; legal obligation (6(1)(c)) for tax data.
- Retention: while the license is active; contractual/tax data up to 10 years where required; other data deleted on request or within 12 months after expiry.
Purchase
The "Buy subscription" button opens Stripe's payment page; payment happens there and we never see or store card data.
Processors
Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Resend (key emails), Contabo (routing server). Some may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante). Write to assistenza@getairsense.com; we reply within 1 month.
What we do not do
No profiling, advertising, data sales or analytics.
